William O. "Bill" Whitworth is President of Gardner-Whitworth & Associates, REALTORS®, Inc. He began his real estate career in 1967 and achieved broker status in 1969. He is a lifelong resident of Mattoon and is a graduate of Mattoon High School, Utterback's Business College and Lake Land College. Bill serves as chairman of the City of Mattoon Zoning Board of Appeals and also serves on their Advisory Board of Directors. He is a past instructor of real estate at Lake Land College and an inaugural member of Lake Land College Distinguished Alumni Society. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Directors at US Bank, N. A.
Bill's professional designations include Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Certificate of Accomplishment from Meredith Corporation for successful completion of the prescribed courses on loan origination. He has been involved in numerous real estate developments in the Mattoon area, including Lane Acres South Subdivision, Aldi Stores, Medicine Shoppes, Speedilubes, Quality Auto Care, Rent-A-Center, Eastern Illinois Industries, WMCI FM Radio, Colortyme complex on Lakeland Boulevard, and the new Veterans Administration outpatient medical clinic.

Doug Whitworth has been a BROKER with Gardner-Whitworth & Associates, REALTORS®, Inc., since 1988, following his REALTOR® status in 1986. Doug is also the President of Gardner-Whitworth Insurance Group. Doug is the third generation to join the family-owned business following his grandparents, Kenneth and Ruth Gardner, and his father, William O. "Bill" Whitworth.
Doug is a lifelong resident of Mattoon and a graduate of Lake Land college. He serves as a board member on the Mattoon Babe Ruth Baseball Association, as well as, the Mattoon Youth Basketball League. He is a local chairman of the Trusted Choice Big "I" Junior Golf Classic Qualifier and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and First United Methodist Church. He has coached and supported various youth sports programs in Mattoon for 25+ years.

Perley Storm has been a REALTOR® with Gardner-Whitworth & Associates, REALTORS®, Inc. since 1984. A native of Mason in Effingham County, Illinois, he is a graduate of Dietrich High School, Lake Land College, and Eastern Illinois University. He is an active member in several local organizations including the Mattoon Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lake Land College Alumni Association, and the Central Illinois Board of REALTORS®. Perley specializes in residential and farmland sales.

Robin has lived in the Mattoon area since 1986. He is a 1981 graduate of Eastern Illinois University. Robin has been involved in the real estate business for 20+ years, working in residential property management from 1982 until 2000, and as a real estate agent since 2001. He is experienced in both residential and commercial real estate as both a sales and listing agent. He is a member of the Central Illinois Board of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. Robin has been active as a Scout leader and youth sports coach for several years here in Mattoon. Tom has been a REALTOR® since 1998, and has already received the President's Silver Award for sales production. As a lifelong resident of Mattoon, Tom is fully capable to handle all sides of any real estate transaction.
Tom is an active member of the following: First United Methodist Church, Wabash Lodge #179 AF&AM, AASR Valley of Danville, Illinois Association of REALTORS®, and the Mattoon Fraternal Order of Eagles. He also served on the Central Illinois Board of REALTORS® MLS Committee, Rules & Finance Committee, Grievance Committee, and was also a member of the Board of Directors. He was selected as REALTOR® of the year for 2002.
Cathy Harden Lynch

Cathy, a native of Mattoon, is an independent consultant to the President and also a licensed Illinois real estate salesperson at Gardner-Whitworth & Associates, REALTORS®, Inc. Cathy’s real estate career began in 1996 in Southwest Florida with her spouse. In 2006, she and her husband moved back to Illinois upon his retirement to be near aging parents. In addition, she also holds an active Florida real estate license.
Cathy is a graduate of Mattoon High School, Lake Land College, and the School of Technical Careers at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Based on personal experience and research, her passion has evolved into adult and senior care housing and universal home design.
